S inscenací "Pack. Ask me what I want to be when I grown up and I say" přijely studentky ze Stuttgartu ze State University of Music and Performing Arts.
Na scéně jsou zavěšeny žaluzie. Podlaha je pokrytá umělou trávou. Dále se zde nachází dvě židle naproti sobě - červená a bílá, mezi nimi fotbalový míč. Za žaluziemi vidíme TV, plyšovou hračku, stoličku, nějaké jídlo.
Přichází dívka oblečená ve fotbalovém dresu. Prochází chodbami DAMU, což je divákům promítáno živě na žaluzie, až nakonec vstoupí do DISKU. Není ale sama, jde s ní druhá dívka, která je také oblečena do fotbalového dresu. Usedají a rozehrávají jakýsi "zápas". Obě dvě sedí na jedné židli a do míče se snaží kopnout pomocí patelárního reflexu. Jedna z dívek vítězí a velmi pomalými pohyby (jako zpomalený film) ukazuje svoji obrovskou radost. Následně se dívky schovají za žaluzie, kde sledují fotbalový zápas v TV a opět je vše dokumentováno kamerou a promítáno na žaluzie. Představení neustále doprovází jedna a ta samá fráze: "There is a video recording of me I crawl around in front of the TV my mother ask what I want to be when I grow up and I say:... Football player/baker/ an astronaut."
Ale co mělo představení divákům vlastně předat? Ani jedna z dívek hrát fotbal ve skutečnosti neuměla. Šlo pouze o nenaplněný sen z dětství. Vše bylo podáváno s jistou dávkou humoru, diváci se velmi dobře bavili, ale bohužel za tak krátký čas (20 min.) představení nic zajímavého nepředalo, ani nepřineslo.
The staging "Pack. Ask me what I want to be when I grow up and I say" was brought by students of State University of Music and Performing Arts of Stuttgart.
A sunblind hangs on the stage. The floor is covered in fake grass. Next we see two chairs facing from each other - one red and one white - and between them a football. Behind the sunblind we see a TV, a plush toy, a stool, some food.
A girl dressed in football jersey enters. She walks through the halls of DAMU. The audience can watch her being broadcast live on the sunblind until she finally enters DISK. However, she is not alone, a second girl follows her, also dressed in football jersey. The sit down and play out a match of sorts. Both of them sit in a chair and they're trying to kick the ball using patellar reflex. One of the girls succeeds and with very slow movements (like a slow motion film) she shows her immense joy. Next the girls hide behind the sunblind where they watch a football match on TV and once again everything is recorded by a camera and broadcast on the screen. The show is constantly accompanied by a single phrase "There is a video recording of me I crawl around in front of my TV my mother asks what I want to be when I grow up and I say:... Football player / baker / an astronaut."
What was the performance supposed to relay to the audience though? Neither girl actually knew how to play football. It was an unfulfilled childhood dream. Everything was presented with a certain dose of humor and the viewers had a very good time, but sadly the show didn't communicate or bring anything interesting in the short amount of time (20 min.).
